Career

Mark retired in 2006 from his role as Consultant in Chemical Pathology at University College London Hospitals.

Cancer User Representation

Mark was a user representative on the Upper GI & Pancreatic Tumour Working Group for the North West London Cancer Network (2010-2013), and on the CNS/Patient Experience Workgroup of the HPB Pathway Board in London Cancer Alliance (2014-2015).

Mark was on the User Partnership Group of the NW London Cancer Network (2010-2013), transferred to London Cancer Commissioning Support (North West) (2013-2014).

Mark was on the Cancer Patient Panel for London Health Programmes during the project to define a new Model of Care for cancer (2011-2012). Both London Cancer (North and East London) and London Cancer Alliance (West and South London) arose as organisational responses to the Model of Care.

Mark assisted with the Patient Leaflet group hosted within the Cancer Services Directorate at Imperial Healthcare (2012-2017).

Mark and Judy are pleased to support fundraising for the HepatoBiliary Surgery Unit of Hammersmith Hospital.
